A series of interviews with outstanding graduates of the College of Animal Engineering (Part IV)
Learning is a thing that has no end, and we must always stick to it
——An interview with Wang Mengxuan, a graduate of 2018 Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine
(Editorial: College of Animal Engineering)
I.this guide
Wang Mengxuan is a person with a story, and the story originally created by her is wonderful. If one word is extracted to summarize, toughness is the first choice. "Resilience" is not "willfulness", and stories written by the latter are mostly loosely structured and difficult to become high-quality products.
This big book of life is never short of materials, but lacks the tenacity to wear these piecemeal materials into pieces and make fine products. Perhaps it can be said that Wang Mengxuan used toughness to turn stone into gold, and also provided another vivid example and annotation for the idiom "Drips through stones". Might as well read it.
II.the character file

III.Interview Record
1.Do you still remember when you first entered school? What was the state of mind at that time?
Wang Mengxuan: When I first entered the school, I was a teenager and came to this beautiful campus with longing and ignorance. I didn't think about what I want to do, but I thought that I should treat everything with a serious attitude and try my best to do everything well.
2.Did you choose animal husbandry and veterinary major for employment, personal hobby or other factors?
Wang Mengxuan: I prefer animals myself. Besides, there are also farmings in my home. I have some preliminary understanding of this major, so I chose the major of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.
3.Are there any unforgettable people and things during your study at your alma mater? Examples can be given.
Wang Mengxuan: What impressed me most during my study at my alma mater was every experimental class. The scene at that time is still vivid. Teachers patiently taught us every experimental step, taught us how to operate and how to combine practice with theory. Vivid and interesting teaching methods bring us not only knowledge, but also rigor and seriousness when doing anything.
I am especially grateful to the professional teachers of my alma mater, who gave me a new understanding and greater interest in this major, so that I have achieved this result today.
4.What do you think is the biggest change in college life?
Wang Mengxuan: I have gained a lot from five years of college life. From being ignorant at the beginning, I have a clear outline of my future. Knowing what you want and what you should do, everyone should shoulder his share of responsibility and face the future with tenacity and courage.
5.Do you have any suggestions or heartfelt words for the younger brothers and sisters who are still studying in school?
Wang Mengxuan: For the younger brothers and sisters, I want to say that we should cherish the present learning opportunities, study and live quickly for several years, and don't do anything that you regret. Maybe you are still confused and have no specific goals, but you should not waste your time and do something meaningful. The outside world is big and not as comfortable as we think. Try to set some small goals for yourself and stick to it. Don't be afraid, don't feel that you can't do it, you should be brave at this age when you dare to fight. Only when life has been tested again and again, can we constantly change and meet a better self.
6.From your personal experience, what good suggestions do you have for your alma mater in personnel training, professional teaching and student employment?
Wang Mengxuan: I hope that my alma mater will pay more attention to students' ideological and moral construction in personnel training and establish correct life values; Carry out more special activities of ideological education to improve students' quality.
We hope to add more experimental courses in professional teaching, and we should improve our practical ability while learning professional knowledge well.
In terms of students' employment, I hope that during their school years, students can provide some internship opportunities related to majors and increase their practical experience, so as to better understand their professional work and better connect and position their future development when they graduate.
7.Please tell us about your work, study and life after graduating from your alma mater?
Wang Mengxuan: After graduating from my alma mater, I entered Yangda to study this course exclusively to make up for my lack of professional knowledge. During the holiday, I went to the farm to practice and accumulate practical experience. I set goals for myself and finished them as planned. For example, taking a professional certificate, deciding to take the postgraduate entrance examination, and constantly improving yourself and challenging yourself in the process of doing your best to complete the scheduled plan, step by step towards the goal in your heart.
The study and life of my alma mater is an indispensable part of my life, which lays a solid foundation for my future choice and development. The teachers of our alma mater are very professional and responsible, and give us professional knowledge carefully. Not only that, but we are also very concerned about our life, and treat us as our own children, which teaches us a lot of truth in life.
Alma mater is a warm place, a place worth remembering, a place where dreams begin, and a place where I am proud. I believe that my alma mater will get better and better in the future.
8.How do you feel and plan to pass the postgraduate examination this year?
Wang Mengxuan: Through hard work, I have achieved my goal, and I am happy in my heart, but I also realize that the next study and life will not be easy. Postgraduate entrance examination is only a small test in the journey of life, and life still faces many challenges. With the initial heart and the self-discipline and tenacity developed in my alma mater, I will constantly enrich myself. There is no end to learning, and it is something that should be persisted all the time.
IV.Message from the teacher in charge
During your five years in Xuzhou VocationalCollegeof Bioengineering, you spent your middle school and college days, which should be the best time in your life. The real ideal is bred here, and the good habits are formed in this time. The teacher looks at you as young as a bud, always working hard and being practical step by step. As a traveler of youth, you are not taking the road paved by others. The scenery along the road you choose to study may not be beautiful, but this kind of experience can make you weave a more colorful life in youth with your ideals and sweat. Sometimes, the future can be expected. Beautiful youth, it is determined to work hard! I wish you to go forward bravely with the blessings of your alma mater, live up to your youth and have a bright future! (Wang Yuyan)
V.Postscript of Interview
Wang Mengxuan is not simple. This is the editor's first reaction after learning from Sun Peng's dean that Wang Mengxuan was admitted to graduate school this year. Most people who are not simple are people who have stories, and the person who created this story must be different from others.
From junior college to undergraduate, and then to graduate school, Wang Mengxuan is using the rare self-discipline and persistence of her peers, which is a little vivid and full of the story of her life.
It's like a pestle grinding into a needle. The verb "Mo" makes the difference between "pestle" and "needle" not only in appearance. What is that? There is no definite answer. Thinking is for everyone.
"There is no end to learning, and it is something that must be persisted." Wang Mengxuan created infinite possibilities for his youth story with persistence. As the old saying goes, dripping water can wear stone. I believe it.
